A brilliant hotel, exceptional views, wonderful location on river. Location just next door to Ripon for a family christening, pub until late Sunday night and Ripon Cathedral and Fountains Abbey. Plus, 5 minutes drive from Lightwater Valley.

The Bruce Arms in West Tanfield is a lovely place to stay. It served as a great holiday base for us and made our stay really good. The location is stunning, right next to an ancient church, and we enjoyed the convenience of having the bar/restaurant and a taxi to Ripon nearby.
